The mission of the IAAI Washington State Chapter No. 21 is to provide training, promote the exchange of information, and to act as a resource for those public officials and private persons involved in the investigation and control of arson and kindred offenses.

The Chapter’s objectives and purposes shall be:

1. To unite for mutual benefit those public officials and private persons engaged in the control of arson and kindred crimes and fire.
2. To provide for the exchange of technical information and developments
3. To cooperate with law enforcement agencies and associations to further fire prevention and the suppression of crime
4. To encourage high professional standards of conduct among the investigators and to continually strive to eliminate all factors which interfere with the administration of crime suppression.
